A lawsuit filed by Alex Espalin, an investor in Michelin-starred Moto and the now-shuttered ING, aims not only for financial damages but to force out Chef Homaro Cantu. Eater reports that the lawsuit claims Cantu spent money improperly, engaged in poor book-keeping and did not pay Espalin back. The lawsuit also affects Berrista, the new coffee-shop Cantu opened that's based on the miracle berry, which it claims as a co-owned asset subject to licensing fees.

LTHForum has released its list of new Great Neighborhood restaurants for 2015, which include Elizabeth, Analogue, Cellar Door Provisions, Publican Quality Meats and more. See the full list here.

Speaking of Elizabeth, check out this in depth interview on Chef Iliana Regan's new project Wunder POP, which will feature pop-up restaurants. The first is a casual ramen bar.
