The folks at Google Maps have taken two of our favorite things—maps of Chicago and classic arcade games—and made them one: You can now play Pac-Man in Chicago, or anywhere else you like, using Google Maps.

To access the special feature, search for a local neighborhood or street address in Google Maps, click the Pac-Man icon at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and then use your arrow keys to chase Pinky and Clyde in circles around the Art Institute. Click here to find Pac-Man scoping out the Wrigley Field renovations.

A user guide produced by Google Maps hints that there are special foods for Pac-Man to gobble up during his travels hidden around the site. The feature seems to have been created in honor of April Fools' Day but let's hope they keep it around all year.

(Tip: Some of our staffers had trouble accessing the feature in Google Chrome, but Safari worked like a charm.)
