Sink | Swim, the newest venture from the team behind Scofflaw, is now open at 3213 W. Armitage Ave. Check out the drink menu and the seafood-heavy food menu here. It's the latest in a spate of nautical themed bars and restaurants opening up in Chicago (look out for Queen Mary later this year).

If you love scones, head over to Scone City, now open at 1632 W. Division St. The cafe serves well...scones, of both sweet and savory varieties (also some gluten free options), as well as Halfwit Coffee Roasters beverages. The menu says they have a "hot dog" scone containing a Niman Ranch Hotdog, whole grain mustard and poppy seed, which intrigues us.

Chef Thai Dang has departed from Embeya and the restaurant is closed until April 15, when it will reopen with a new chef. According to Eater "Whether Dang left to make room for the new chef or for a different reason is currently unknown."
