Watch Action Bronson And Mario Batali's Delicious Bromance Come To Life

It has finally happened: celebrity chef Mario Batali and ex-chef rapper Action Bronson came together to make up the cutest couple in cuisine. Batali and Bronson might come from opposite coasts and different backgrounds, but that doesn’t stop the two from doting on each other during a recent episode of Fuck, That’s Delicious (FTD).

The show, which follows Bronson as he eats his way across the world, is produced by Munchies, Vice Media’s prolific foodie department. While the real Food Network has rotted into endless melodrama and vapid cooking competitions, Munchies has filled the void with an impressive repertoire of enlightening and entertaining shows.

There’s many a treasure to be found here, including Huang’s World with Eddie Huang, Fat Prince with Andy Milonakis and Bong Appetit, hosted by scorching hot stoner Matt Zimbric.

Among the myriad of quality series that explore topics from political food movements to international exposés, FTD is the most entertaining and astute. Whether or not you like his music, Action Bronson is an extremely likable dude and his show is excellent. Don’t believe us? Then believe Mario Batali. At the end of the Santa Monica episode of FTD, Batali expresses his bro-mantic admiration of Bronson, exclaiming, “I need to meet him! I need to do stuff with him.”

Of course, the site of their rendezvous is in the gourmand mecca of the American cultural capital: Eataly in New York. They eat cheeses and make pizzas that are, somehow, inspired by Bronson’s brand new album, Mr. Wonderful. They’re so happy to meet each other and it’s adorable. Give it a watch. It'll melt the mozzarella in your heart. (Editor's Note: Like what you see? Make sure to watch Bronson's FTD episode from when he visited Chicago. He's a big fan of all of Hot Doug's dearly departed menu, visited the Wiener Circle with rapper Riff Raff and, maybe the reason why we love him most, could care less about meeting Mike Ditka. Bronson seems like one of the nicest dudes on the planet and can get along with anyone, so when Ditka treats him rudely, we love the fact Bronson seemingly gives no fucks.)
