Extra Extra: Kamron T. Taylor Had Family Help In Prison Break

  • We now know who was helping convicted murderer Kamron T. Taylor in his prison break last week. Former correctional officer Tonya D. Grant, 50, has been charged with obstructing justice and aiding in the escape of Taylor, her nephew. She is being held on $150,000 bail, according to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s office.   • The office of Governor Rauner released a list of social services and public health programs that will be suspended as part of his plan to fix the state budget. Included is funding to pay for the funerals and burials of public-assistance recipients, smoking cessation, teen programs, autism and HIV and AIDS programs, among others. [Tribune]
