Do You Choo-Choo-Choose Chuy?

After tonight, we'll finally be done with all those commercials featuring a pleasant looking Rahm Emanuel and Chuy Garcia wearing sweaters and talking directly into camera. But a few enterprising artists around town have done their best to leave reminders of the campaign long after the polls have closed. One of our personal favorites? I Choo-Choo-Choose Chuy, from a local artist who calls himself "The Chupacabra."
Located in Wicker Park and Logan Square, The Chupacabra has faithfully recreated Chuy's smiling mustachioed face on top of the iconic Simpsons gag, making one happy little pop culture endorsement of Garcia. The artist even left crayons at one of the poster locations so locals could color it in. We've reached out to the artist and will update our post with more information if w hear back from him.
Politics can be a dirty game, so enjoy this much more lighthearted and fun side of the campaign while you still have a chance. And while it may be exciting, please try not to bend the wookie.
