Weekend Playlist: Chicago Fire

One of the many things that Chicago is known for is the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, a particularly infamous and dark moment in the city's past that has lead to some interesting and distinctive architecture, along with a hit television series and a professional soccer club.

Continuing in that legacy, October of last year brought "The Great Chicago Fire Festival," wherein floating houses were to travel down the river in a parade, and they were supposed to be ablaze. Much to the chagrin of those in attendance, many of the floats (no pun intended) failed to ignite and the entire event was dubbed a flop.

But despite the poor reception, The Great Chicago Fire Festival is coming back! We'll see if this year they can really get the fire going as much as this weekend's hot playlist.
