Today's Weather: Storm Watch

Keep your eyes to the skies today as showers and even some thunderstorms head to the area this afternoon and evening with the possibility of producing some locally heavy downpours to wash away the weekend.
The good news is that highs will be a bit warmer than yesterday reaching the upper 50s near the lake and lower 60s inland. But don't be fooled by the early sun; it's just a cover-up for the building clouds on the horizon that will usher in the latest round of April showers.
