Tuesday April 21
Sauced
Emporium Logan Square
Sauced, one of our favorite food and art markets, will once again offer a delicious food court including Cookies & Carnitas, Frontier and a chance to have a first taste of newcomers Cluckson’s Peri Peri Chicken and creperie Paris Ouh La La. Cocktails from Cocktail Courier, a new cocktail delivery service, will be served. Admission is free and art/food is a la carte.

Wednesday April 22
Cookie Love with Mindy Segal
Bottom Lounge
Chef Mindy Segal of Hot Chocolate will be discussing her new book Cookie Love with WBEZ Chewing the Fat podcasters Monica Eng and Louisa Chu as part of the Chicago Humanities Festival. Grab your ticket here. And yes, there will be cookie samples.

Thursday April 23
Version 15: 100 Watts Lumpen Radio Kick Off Party
Public Media Institute
Help fundraise for Chicago alternative media powerhouse Lumpen to start up their own radio station. Enjoy live music and art installations while eating food from an insane lineup of local restaurants (Fat Rice, Parachute, Nightwood, Thank You, The Rice Table, Big Star and Sobramessa Supper Club) and drinks from Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar, Marz Community Brewing, Three Floyds, Lost Lake and Parson's. More info and tickets here.

Sunday April 26
Maddys' Dumpling House Brunch Edition
Salero
We've attended many editions of Chef Chrissy Camba's pop up supper club and each one offers a bounty of delicious food in a fun environment. This month she tackles brunch with dishes like corned beef hash sticky rice and longaniza steam buns. Grab a ticket here.

Cochon 555
Morgan Manufacturing (401 N. Morgan)
The pork-centric event returns to Chicago for an epic competitive feast of pork cookery (and plenty of booze, we speak from experience). If you missed out on Bacon Fest or if you just want more pork, this is an event worth checking out. Grab a ticket here.
