For the first time in over 50 years, Chicago plays host to the NFL Draft. While the main event kicks off Thursday night at the Auditorium Theatre, the NFL has already taken over part of Grant Park to set up Draft Town. Open to the public on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the massive Draft Town offers football fans a whole host of activities. On Thursday and Friday, Draft Town is open from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. On Saturday fans can visit from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Among the attractions are a Super Bowl museum, team houses for each NFL team, "Sweetness Simulator" that lets fans fly through the air like Bears great Walter Payton, 40-yard dash and the NFL Play 60 Zone with activities for kids and families. There will also be autograph sessions, local chefs slinging food and of course a beer tent in the football festival.

The draft itself is open only to those lucky enough to have snagged tickets and will begin at 7 p.m on Thursday. The league will complete the first round during the first session, with Friday night's action including the second and third rounds. The final four rounds take place on Saturday.
