It's Raining Cats At Treehouse's Annual Kitten Shower

By Sophie Day in Miscellaneous on May 1, 2015 8:40PM

Tomorrow the Treehouse Humane Society will host its sixth annual Kitten Shower. The family-friendly event—which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.—will feature games, snacks ("meow-mosas!") and prizes with all proceeds benefitting a good cause.

As the weather starts to warm up, kittens are going to start being born all around Chicago and too many of them will be born without a home. The Treehouse Humane Society seeks to raise awareness and funds to aid their cat shelter. A suggested donation of $5 is requested and guests are also welcome to bring kitten-centric supplies like formula and blankets.

For more information on what promises to be a purr-fectly adorable event, or for a list of acceptable items for donation, head to their website.

The Treehouse Humane Society's 6th Annual Kitten Shower is tomorrow, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chicago Party Animals, 1133 W. Fulton Market. There is a suggested $5 donation at the door.
