Kanye Performs At Sunday's Bulls Game, Meets Scottie Pippen, Almost Smiles

By Justin Freeman in Arts & Entertainment on May 11, 2015 1:00PM

During yesterday's Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers game, Kanye West was in town sitting courtside with Scottie Pippen and decided to give an impromptu performance. During a timeout break in the first quarter, Kanye was given a mic and ran through a quick rendition of his current single, “All Day.” Check out the video below from Bleacher Report.

After mugging for the camera with Pippen (Editor's Note: Season Three, True Detective?), Kanye also spoke at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago after the game, the institution that is giving him an honorary doctorate today. Kanye also almost had a good time, but then noticed a camera and well, went back to his usual Kanye game face. At least the man is consistent and hey, we wouldn't be smiling if a camera was jammed in our face all the time either.

This has been a rather intense and exciting weekend for Chicago Bulls fans. The Bulls are in the thick of the championship hunt and currently fighting it out with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the semifinal round of the playoffs. Friday night, Derrick Rose hit an absolutely amazing three point shot at the buzzer to win the game and pretty much the whole internet.

Unfortunately, the Cavs got their revenge yesterday, beating the Bulls 86-84. It was rather symmetrical. The game was tied with around one second of play left and LeBron James hit a two-pointer at the buzzer for the win, also to tie the series. It wasn’t as dramatic as Rose’s three-pointer, but it was definitely a response.

Game 5 is tomorrow, May 12, at Cleveland. The game starts at 6 p.m. on TNT. The series is tied 2-2.
