Chicago Gay Men's Chorus Presents 'We're Still Here'

By Sophie Day in Arts & Entertainment on May 15, 2015 7:55PM

This weekend, the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus will officially introduce their new Artistic Director with performances of We're Still Here, a retrospective on the work of Stephen Sondheim. We're Still Here is your typical story of boy meets boy, using the music of Sondheim as a framework to follow a couple's relationship through its various stages.

The show also serves as a meditation on how far the chorus itself has come, as well as where it's going. Join the CGMC in celebrating the 85th birthday of an acclaimed composer.

We're Still Here has performances on May 16, May 23 and May 24. For showtimes and ticket information, check out their website.
