Need A Summer Job? Marvel "Recruits" For S.H.I.E.L.D. This July

Chicago's been turned into Gotham and Metropolis for DC Comics-based films in the past, but Marvel wants to take it one step further this summer. In July, the comics giant is bringing part of the Marvel Universe to McCormick Place for the ultimate fan experience.

A pop-up theme park, dubbed The Marvel Experience Tour, will take over the convention center from July 11 through August 2 before moving on to Philadelphia, New York and St. Louis. The interactive exhibition offers two hours of "hyper-reality" where fans will be recruited as the newest agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in order to take on Red Skull and HYDRA. Seven "colossal domes" house the "training facility," a 4-D motion ride, a museum of collectibles and a life-sized Quinjet.

If you're hesitant about busting out your cosplay gear a few weeks ahead of Wizard World Chicago, relax—from the looks of the promo video, you'll do just as well in a sweater and your Chuck Taylors:

The Marvel Experience Tour will be at McCormick Place from July 11 through August 2. If you need a refresher, you can get your hero's (or villain's) origin story online, as well as purchase tickets.
