Today's Weather: One Last Hurrah

Today we get one more shot at summer before we head back to springtime. Temperatures will top out at almost 80 degrees with partly sunny conditions that help keep things warmed up for most of the day.

By nightfall we'll have a drastic drop with readings in the lower 40s inland. That trend will continue throughout the week with the mercury struggling to reach the 60s though skies will mostly be clear for the next five days.
