Today's Weather: Storm Central

Looks like we have to contend with the Lightning in another round today as the afternoon poses a strong risk of numerous thunderstorms. Today's conditions are overall warm and muggy with highs topping out at 83 degrees and humidity at 93%—ripe for producing severe weather.

The first wave came this morning with heavy downpours. Expect that trend to continue into the afternoon with some areas seeing rainfall at rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour, which could cause flash flooding. Storms kick around Monday too so don't put away that umbrella just yet.
