Extra Extra: Parts Of Indiana Toll Road Remain Closed After Crash

  • All westbound lanes on the Indiana Toll Road remain closed currently after a three-car crash happened this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. The Sun-Times reports that as of 5 p.m., all westbound lanes were closed west of Portage and only one eastbound lane was open. The westbound lane closure is expected to last until at least 6:15 p.m. [Sun-Times]

  • Federal prosecutors asked for a protective order in the criminal case against former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert. It would keep any sensitive information, such as the identity of the alleged victim, from being revealed. [Tribune]
