Today's Weather: Linger

The storms and showers from last night will linger as we kick off another cloudy and wet weekend. A few thunderstorms are possible in the southern suburbs this morning, moving downstate midday after an evening of heavy rain fall. Our skies will stay cloudy and we could see a few showers this afternoon. We will see a drop in temperature today with highs in the low 70s.
Unfortunately for those wanting to enjoy the outdoors this weekend, we'll have some sunshine tomorrow before clouds and thunderstorms move in later during the day. Sunday's weather will be hot with thunderstorms and heavy downpour likely.
