Today's Weather: Suddenly Stormy

We beat the Lightning last night, but we likely won't be able to hold it off today as a round of storms, some severe, are predicted for the afternoon and evening hours. The day starts out with sunshine and temps in the 70s, but much like yesterday, a looming warm front bringing the humidity and temps in the 80s will make its way into our area at some point today and take a pretty nasty turn.

The exact timing is unsure so have your umbrella handy and be ready to take shelter if you are outdoors. Locally severe storms could produce downpours of well over an inch of rain and damaging winds and hail. It's much the same story tomorrow before Tuesday gives us a break.
