It's always construction season in Chicago, with more and more buildings popping up every day. And while things appear to shoot up overnight, the process is much more involved than that as this time-lapse video proves.

The video, taken by Loop office worker Andy Krakos, documents the construction of 200 N. Michigan Ave., a 41-story apartment building that will hold 402 rental units, according to Curbed.

The building, named "MILA," because it sits on Michigan Avenue and Lake Street, will be opening in January of 2016, according to Stone Real Estate's website. While the developers currently do not have any listings available, there's a spot to enter your personal information to find out about the property when the information becomes public on the building's official site. Because who wouldn't want to live right next door to the Hard Rock Hotel?
