Riot Fest just filled in a few question marks on their 2015 line-up in Douglas Park this September. Joining the previously announced bands are System of a Down, The Prodigy, 88 Fingers Louie, and Chef’Special. This announcement is reflective of the line-up's broad musical diversity, continuing to embrace the ethos that punk rock is built on personal taste and not adherence to some sort of rigid genre of musical cliches. The Prodigy's aggressive electronic dance music is just as likely to get metal kids moshing as System Of A Down's drop D hard rock will get the EDM-ers pogoing and spinning in circles. Right?

Riot Fest also just announced the return of their ticket layaway plan, constructed to give folks the chance to buy tickets and make incremental payments on their purchase in order to afford the three day music festival. Interested? You can find more information on the layaway plan here.

A number of acts are slated to follow last year's example and perform some of their own "classic" albums in their entirety. So far those are:

  • Snoop Dogg performing Doggystyle
  • Ice Cube & Guests performing NWA's Straight Outta Compton
  • Rancid performing … And Out Come The Wolves
  • The Academy Is… performing Almost Here
  • The Dwarves performing Blood Guts and Pussy

Riot Fest is in Douglas Park September 11-13 and tickets are on sale now.
