Enjoy A Coffee Film, Tasting And Latte Throwdown

This Thursday, June 25, at the Wilson Abbey (935 W. Wilson Ave.), watch A Film About Coffee, which is well, about coffee, but more than that, it's about specialty coffee from farm to cup. How it's grown and how it gets to local coffee roasteries like those in Chicago, who will also be showcasing their best brews in a tasting and competing in the Latte Throwdown following the film.
Participating roasters include Metropolis, Bow Truss, HalfWit, Counter Culture and Passion House. There will also be tea from Rishi.
The tastings start at 5:30 p.m. with the film starting at 7 p.m. and the Latte Throwdown is at 8:30 p.m. Grab a ticket for $15 here.
