Fried Chicken Favorite The Roost Is Getting A 2nd Location In River West

The Roost Carolina Kitchen is one of our favorite places for fried chicken in the city, particularly for fried chicken sandwiches. And now they'll have a new location in River West.
They started out as a humble food truck and later opened a shop up on Irving Park Road. Unfortunately the truck is off the road for repairs lately, leaving non-North Siders without an easy way to get their incredible crispy fried chicken between perfect fluffy biscuits.
But their new location in River West changes all that. They say it will be near the Blue Line Grand Station, which is an area where we are happy to see more new businesses.
