A major change is coming to the iconic Wrigley Field "Home of Chicago Cubs" marquee. A Toyota logo will be added to the panel below the marquee, replacing the Cubs' "#LETSGO" slogan that currently occupies the spot, the team announced Friday morning. It will be the first corporate logo to grace the Cubs marquee.

The change is one part of a new "legacy partnership" deal with the Japanese automaker. Toyota is now the official vehicle of the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field and beginning next year, they will have naming rights to the team parking lots and field-level signage. There will also be new in-game rotational Toyota signs behind home plate and on the left field video board.

The panel is no stranger to corporate advertising. Budweiser and Allstate logos have appeared in the same spot in the past.

The change might be controversial with some Cubs fans. But team chairman Tom Ricketts said that legacy partners like Toyota play an integral role in winning a World Series and preserving Wrigley Field.

Fans will have to remain patient and see if all the new corporate advertising and sponsorships pay off in the next few seasons.
