You Can Now Buy These Fabulous Tiki Mugs From Three Dots & A Dash Online

Let's be honest: Part of what we love about tiki is the over-the-top mugs. Where else can you drink out of a skull, a sea urchin or a starfish? And since Three Dots & A Dash, Chicago's most over-the-top tiki spot, opened in 2013, they've had an incredible collection of custom mugs. Customers have been able to buy a few of them, but only on the spot (and only a small part of their collection). That all changes on Sept. 1.

Starting then, visitors to the brand new online store will be able to purchase from a selection of twelve different mugs. The store is live now, but the official launch date isn't until Sept. 1. Offerings include the classic (and gorgeous) signature sea urchin (pictured above) and the seahorse cup:

There's also the more traditional, horror-inspired tiki mugs like the Fijian Mermaid (which will always be an X-Files reference to us):

Most excitingly, you'll be able to get huge punch bowls like the Giant Clam (piece of eight not included):

A representative from Lettuce Entertain You told us that the store would eventually also sell trinkets like coasters and swizzle sticks, as well as the mugs. During an interview with former Three Dots Bartender Paul McGee about a year ago, he told us that sets of swizzle sticks and glasses from the bar were selling for crazy money on Ebay. Looks like Lettuce Entertain You has decided to get in on some of that action.

Prices range from $20 to $100.
