Fire Destroys Historic Lincoln Square Lanes

An overnight extra-alarm fire has completely destroyed Lincoln Square Lanes, the 1918-vintage bowling alley. The fire is out, but nearby streets are still congested.

In addition to the bowling alley, there is a hardware store located on the ground floor. The fire began just before 1 a.m. and was out by 4 a.m.
