Never tried a Divvy bike before? Now's your chance. By popular demand, rides on Divvy bikes will be free for the next two Saturdays, Sept. 12 and Sept. 19, through a sponsorship by T-Mobile. Over 5,600 people took advantage of the first free Divvy day on Sept. 5, the Chicago Department of Transportation announced.

"We were very pleased to the see the high level of interest demonstrated in the first-ever day of free Divvy rides offered in Chicago, and we hope to build on that over the next two Saturdays," CDOT Commissioner Rebekah Scheinfeld said in a statement.

Taking advantage of the deal is easy but still not completely free. The $9.95 24-hour pass will be free at every station for all riders but usage fees will still apply to all rides over 30 minutes.

Divvy will increase its Valet Service on both days to guarantee dock space at the busiest stations, such as Millennium Park and Montrose Harbor, and to answer questions. Special Valet Service will also be offered this weekend for Riot Fest and the Chicago Bears' season opener at Soldier Field.
