The only benefit to the ridiculous number of food "holidays" that now litter the calendar? The opportunity to get free stuff. Tomorrow, Sept. 29, is national coffee day, and here's a round-up of where to get your free or discounted cups.

Fox reports on the fast food spots that are giving away free coffee. Dunkin Donuts is giving away free cups of medium or dark roast, while Krispy Kreme is upping the ante with free coffee and glazed donuts! Bringing up the rear, Peets is offering a free coffee with a bakery purchase.

If you're looking for something a little more local, Beatrix is serving up their new Caramel Cream Nitro or Pumpkin Cream Nitro at a pretty good discount, with an extra bonus if you bring back your receipt from coffee day for the rest of the week.

RedEye also reports on a bunch more, including discounts from Chicago Cut (free coffee with breakfast), Heritage Bicycles (free espresso with bike purchase) and Stan's Donuts Wicker Park (free glazed with purchase of Stumptown coffee).

Oh, and if you want to get a cup to celebrate, but don't care about the discounts, check out our list of Best Coffee Shops.
