If you’re anything like us, one of the highlights of your childhood was acquiring a Nintendo Entertainment System. The NES was our doorway to all kinds of new worlds. It introduced us to Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Link and Zelda.

One draw of those games, besides the intricate universes and interesting levels, was the music. The Legend of Zelda games hold a special place in our hearts, and the music was amazing from the get-go. So, if you’re feeling like re-living it in a new way, you can head to the Auditorium Theatre this Thursday night for Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses. This is a touring show which turns the music of Hyrule into a four-movement symphony that classical and video game aficionados can enjoy. Just remember to bring a friend—It’s dangerous to go alone.

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses will be performed at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Auditorium Theater, 50 E. Congress Pkwy. Ticket prices range from $40 to $145.
