Explore the vast, wondrous world of encased meats at Foodseum, a brand new pop-up food museum located on the 2nd floor of Block 37 that aims to educate Chicago about all things edible.

The inaugural exhibit runs through Dec. 20, and delves into the origins of the Chicago-style hot dog and other encased meat delicacies from around the globe. Everything from interactive meat grinders and a miniature Weinermobile to a sausage-crafting demonstration video and vintage hot dog themed paraphernalia provide cultural and historical context for one of Chicago’s most enduring edible icons.
