Sometimes, something so absurd, so fantastically ridiculous happens that it reminds you that the world is indeed a beautiful place. For some people, it's a privileged women screaming “DON'T EAT MY KAYAK,” at a grizzly bear she just pepper sprayed. For us, it's a student listening to ascending local rapper G Herbo in the middle of class and responding by singing Why You Lying at his teacher as he was threatened with suspension.

G Herbo (a.k.a Lil Herb) posted what appears to be a suspension notice from Chicago Public Schools on his Instagram account. The gist of the story behind notice: A fan was listening to Herbo's just released mixtape, Ballin' Like I'm Kobe in the middle of class.

The teacher did not take kindly to this and asked him to turn the music off. The student refused to do so. The teacher then threatened to suspend him if he didn't turn the music off. The student replied by singing to the teacher, “Why the fuck you lying?” from the Why You Lying vine, and sequentially won the internet for a few hours.

The student was then apparently suspended and posted a photograph of the suspension notice on his twitter.

“[Name] is being written up because he refused to remove his headphone’s and turn off his cellular device during my lesson. I asked him several time’s he then responded ‘Nah im good, this Ball like im kobe you tweaking. I warned him a second time and said if he didn’t remove his headphone’s and turn off the music he would be suspended. He joked around with several classmates and replied, ‘Why the fuckk you lying in a singing tone…

One student informed me that it was a mixtape they had been [waiting] to hear for year’s. I then told them it is no excuse to disrupt my class.”
