Pirates' Sean Rodriguez Says That Gatorade Cooler Has Forgiven Him

The Pirates' Sean Rodriguez captivated baseball fans and hungry meme-makers when he squared off against a Gatorade cooler during the Cubs blowout last night.
Rodriguez, a man who once broke his hand punching out a locker, was ejected from the game after throwing a punch at Cubs catcher David Ross. Rodriguez said Ross tried to choke him, Ross says it was an accident. Whatever it was, Rodriguez took his frustration out on the nearby cooler. But Rodriguez announced that he's had a, uh, come-to-Jesus moment with the cooler. He just sent out this tweet:

Rodriguez might be the first to have a Christ-like Gatorade cooler personally apologize to him, but there's a long tradition of player-on-cooler violence in baseball. The Cubs' very own Carlos Zambrano took out his frustrations on a poor Gatorade dispenser:
