It’s been a solid week for Fall Out Boy so far.

Tuesday it was announced that they’ve been nominated for an American Music Award. They’re up against Walk the Moon and Hozier in the category of Favorite Alternative Artist. For those that don’t know, the primary difference between the Grammys and the AMAs is that the Grammys are chosen by committee while the AMAs are chosen by a poll of the general public and sales figures. And this appears to be the first time that Fall Out Boy has been nominated for an AMA.

Monday the band announced they’ll be releasing a remix of American Beauty / American Psycho opener “Irresistible” featuring Demi Lovato. That remix will come out as a single in a few days this Friday.

And better yet—Fall Out Boy is going on tour this spring and will stop by the United Center on March 12. Opening for them are Awolnation and Pvris.

Awolnation are known for their song “Sail” which has become infamous because of that YoutTube video of a cat failing to make a jump between two structures. Pvris is a band of the moment within the Warped Tour scene, which we’re surprised haven’t made the leap to Riot Fest yet. They make crystalline powerpop similar to bands like Paramore and CHVRCHES. Check out the video for their single “My House."

Tickets for Fall Out Boy go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and will cost you somewhere between $35 and $55 dollars. That price range does not include Ticketmaster’s usual fees.
