Stop Crying, The Cure Has Added A Second Chicago Tour Date

Tickets for The Cure's first solo Chicago headlining slot in years sold out immediately after the box office—both virtual and online—opened last Friday. Many tears were shed by many fans. The Cure is a band with a fervent a broad reaching fanbase, so the speed at which the UIC Pavilion tickets were snapped up isn't surprising, but we understand folks being upset they couldn't get in.

Fret no more! The Cure just announced they've added a second Chicago date, also at UIC Pavillon, for June 10, 2016.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. at the U.I.C. Pavilion box office, online through Ticketmaster, or by phone at 800-745-3000. Reserved seats will run between $25 to $85 and general admission on the floor will be $85. There will be a four-ticket-per-person limit, so hopefully more folks will get a chance to snag seats to see Robert Smith and his band spins a sonic tapestry of both misery and joy over a capacity crowd.
