Daycare Center Was Locked Up For The Night With A 1-Year-Old Girl Inside

One Chicago father faced every parent's nightmare when he went to pick up his 1-year-old daughter at daycare on Monday. She was locked inside the center's building crying with the lights shut off and no one else in sight, according to Fox 32.

Police told the parents Cornelius Jones and Quanesha Borum that this isn't the first time this has happened at "All Things Are Possible For Kids" daycare in West Humboldt Park. So Jones and Borum want the place shut down for endangering children.

"I was ringing the bell and no one came to the door, so I called the number and no one answered the phone, so I called again like two more times and I was like, so I kicked the door like two times, then I heard my baby screaming in the background," Jones told Fox.

He then called 911 and Borum. The fire department broke down the front door and found Journee crawling around in the center's back room.

"I was glad that she was OK, but I was like real mad, I was mad because how could you leave a baby in a daycare, how could a child go unaccounted for," Jones said to Fox.
