The Bears have cut Jeremiah Ratliff, one of their best defensive linemen, following multiple heated exchanges including an "intense vocal altercation" with General Manager Ryan Pace on Wednesday, according to the Tribune.
Ratliff allegedly arrived at Halas Hall in Lake Forest, where the Bears train, on Wednesday in a condition not appropriate for work. The arguments started after they tried to send him home. Lake Forest police were called during the "bizarre and emotionally charged chain of events":

It's not the first time Ratliff has been in trouble with the NFL or the Bears.
The NFL suspended Ratliff for the first three games of the 2015 season because of a 2013 DWI incident and he'd recently started playing again.
He was escorted from Halas Hall on Dec. 26 after an argument with a teammate turned into a "major disturbance," according to the Sun-Times.
