The angelic Stephen Colbert and Chance the Rapper

It's Chance the Rapper's world and we're just living in it.

The Chicago-based artist is on a roll this year, releasing a surprise album collaboration with Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment, appearing in short films, headlining last summer's Pitchfork Music Festival and becoming a dad. And last night he stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to debut his new song "Angels."

Watch his performance of the song below, and if you dig it you can download it for free from iTunes right now.

Before the song, Chance sat down for an interview with Colbert and talked about the genesis of his first mixtape and why he doesn't want to sign with a major label, telling Colbert he's trying to find a new business model. Colbert replied, "Not making any money is actually a growing business model in the music industry."

Chance also shared a clip of a radio interview where he revealed he was working on a creative project with Colbert as well. After the clip Colbert exclaimed, "Chance, what part of the DL do you not understand?"

Hopefully it's a new Christmas special.
