We've been waiting for Latinicity since we first previewed it—but then, all we had were artist's renderings. Now you can see inside the amazing Latin-inspired food hall in Block 37, and it looks gorgeous.
As we were promised you can see the many different food stands clustered around the main dining area, including sushi and ceviche, ensalada, burguesa, chaufa wok and more. The dining room is airy, light and beautiful, with huge windows allowing diners to watch downtown while they eat. The dining room also has a huge bar serving speciality drinks and unique Mexican beers.
There are some familiar dishes (like a Latinicity take on the caesar salad) and some more novel ones (like Arroz Aeropuerto, a Peruvian dish that is a combination of crispy noodles topped with fried rice, meats, seafood and chaufa sauce). Check out the photos (dish descriptions are in the captions) and get ready to visit starting Thursday.
