We've been excited for the new Ravenswood Manor location of Baker Miller since we first heard about it back in August. This new location, which was originally supposed to be more of a "general store" with a bakery component than the current restaurant, took over a spot right off the Francisco stop on the Brown Line. Now we know that it's opening on Saturday, but it's no longer a store.

The first hint? Baker Miller's Facebook page, which posted a picture of a delicious new pastry with a mention that it would be available on Saturday.

For your viewing pleasure. Our answer to a donut. Not sure what to call it yet but it's freaking delicious. Hitting our Ravenswood Manor Menu on Saturday! What should we call it? We're thinking the "undonut"...

DNAInfo got the whole story, though they focused on a new stuffed waffle rather than the opening date.

Originally, the spot was meant to be a store, selling everything from Baker Miller flour to natural cleaning products. But apparently, on further reflection, the store didn't make economic sense, so they dropped the idea. Now it's a bakery/cafe serving sweet and savory dishes, but there's no name and no finished menu (even though it opens on Saturday at 7 a.m.). We got confirmation from owner Dave Miller that they will be open, but will have a limited menu.

One thing on the menu for sure at the new location: the "stuffle," a stuffed waffle sort of inspired by the cronut, and we're pretty excited to try it.

Picture a sweet or savory filling — maybe cherries and cream cheese frosting or prosciutto and gruyere — sandwiched between puff pastry patties and then pressed in a waffle iron to flaky, buttery perfection.

If the opening crowds at the original Baker Miller are any indication, you'll want to get there early.
