A woman flipped out after learning that she had misunderstood the fine print on a Denny's all-you-can-eat pancake deal, police say.

Natasha West, 27, ordered the $4 unlimited pancake deal at an Oak Lawn Denny's on Nov. 6. When she began sharing pancakes with her friends, a waitress informed her that sharing wasn't a part of the deal, and that's when things got ugly, Oak Lawn police told the Tribune.

West swore at the waitress, swung her fists several times (but missed) and then she and her friends skipped out on the bill, police say. West kicked a door a several times on her way out for good measure.

A restaurant manager called in the incident to police. Police said they found West and her friends and dragged them back to the Denny's where the staff positively ID'd them. Police forced one of West's friends to pay the bill.

West has been charged with assault and damage to property. Her friend Jerome Lee Ivory, 31, has been charged with providing false identification.
