One of the best things about the Chicago culinary community is its commitment to charity and helping those in need. As soon as the attacks hit Paris, the chef at Wood, Ashlee Aubin, started working on setting up a fundraiser to help the victims, according to the Tribune. The event is happening Monday, Nov. 30, and tickets are available now.
Chefs from Found, Travelle, Bohemian House, Pastoral, Longman & Eagle and more are going to be on hand serving up small plates. Drinks are by Wood, Sportsman's Club and Longman and Eagle, and the $50 ticket includes food and one drink.
The proceeds will all be donated to Secours Populaire Francaise, which is providing emergency assistance to the victims of the attack and their families. The event will take place at Wood, and tickets are available online.
