Dave Chappelle will be setting up camp all next week at the beautiful Thalia Hall performing a dozen shows during six nights. Tickets go on sale Saturday.

The comedian/actor begins his residency Dec. 1 and will run through Dec. 6. Chapelle will perform two shows at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. nightly. The Chi-Raq star has been gingerly working his way back to stage and screen after walking away from a big-money contract to continue Chappelle's Show on Comedy Central in 2006 where he split sides across America for three seasons.

And be warned: No cell phones or other mobile devices will be allowed in Thalia Hall, at all, on the evening of the performances. Chappelle himself requests that such devices be left at home, or in the car, or on the train or anywhere else other than at the show. Customers will not be allowed to enter the venue with a cell phone. Hilarious!

Tickets for all 12 shows will be on sale at noon local time Saturday, Nov. 28, through Live Nation's website. Tickets are $67 each.
