Especially with the new movie coming, we (and lots of other fans) are absolute suckers for all things Star Wars. However, this is the first Star Wars themed dinner we've seen, and it's a doozy.

On Dec. 16, two days before the movie release, there's a special "Star Wars Inspired" dinner at Table, Donkey and Stick. Guest chefs include Caleb Trahan of Bread and Wine, Lawrence Letrero of Sable, Nathan Sears of The Radler and Chip Davies of Homestead. It'll be six courses and $48 per person.

The menu is pun-tastic, especially for any Star Wars fan, and includes dishes like

  • Thai Fighting XO Wings
  • Tauntaun Soup Dumplings
  • JarJarBisque
  • Smoked Vadervan Pork
  • Obi Wan Pierogi

According to Chef Scott Manley at Table, Donkey and Stick, "Each of the guest chefs, my sous chef, and myself, will do a course based on one of the 6 previously released movies. Each of us translate what that means; a couple courses are based on specific characters, while another is based on some of the space craft. My course is based on an event and a character (Darth Vader on his funeral pyre)."
