You should be very excited if you get Chicago Blackhawks tickets for the holidays.

If you've checked out the team's ticket prices on sites like Stubhub or SeatGeek recently, you won't be shocked that they're the most expensive hockey ticket on the resale market.

A Stanley Cup victory is a draw for fans: the median resale price for a game at United Center is a staggering $225, according to the Tribune. It's cheaper to see them on the road but they're still the most priciest team with an average away game resale price of $123 on SeatGeek.

Based on sales data from the start of the season until Wednesday, the New York Rangers come in second with a median resale price of $204. Five of the Original Six NHL teams ranked in the top six for resale ticket prices. Only the Detroit Red Wings, who are tied for 18th place at $89, were left out.

On SeatGeek the Blackhawks have surpassed another Original Six team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, as the most expensive ticket in the NHL. The average Hawks ticket has gone for $162, which is up $3 from a year ago.

On StubHub the Blackhawks have the highest average ticket price at $130 so far this season.

If you're looking to see a NHL game for a deal, head to Raleigh, NC or Sunrise, Fla. The Carolina Hurricanes are the cheapest ticket on Vivid Seats' list at $56 and the Florida Panthers are the least expensive ticket on SeatGeek with a $44 average.
