It's time to buy a Christmas crop top, maybe! Temperatures could reach highs of 60 degrees this Friday and Saturday, with a chance of rain but no snow, according to Tom Skilling’s latest weather column.

He explains this downright not-bad December weather, more than 20 degrees warmer than usual for this time of year, is due to a west-to-east jet stream of mild air known as the Pineapple Express.

Skilling failed to note that in the 2008 film Pineapple Express also refers to a rare strain of marijuana. We hope the Tribune is investigating this oversight.
