Mayor Rahm Emanuel has lost one of his supporters in a very public way. After showing up at Emanuel's election day party in February, the Cubs' most iconic fan, Ronnie Woo Woo, took the microphone today at City Hall and said "I think the mayor should go! He know what's going on."

It happened during a press conference for the Coalition for a New Chicago, a group trying to win support for a bill in Springfield that would allow a mayoral recall election in Chicago. The coalition is led by Gregory Seal Livingston, a former spokesman for mayoral candidate Willie Wilson, according to DNAinfo:

It's the latest call for the mayor to resign in the wake of the Laquan McDonald shooting controversy. Hundreds of protesters took to the streets on Wednesday to call for the resignations of Emanuel and Cook County State's Attorney Anita Alvarez.

Woo Woo, Chicago's most famous super fan, has been attending Cubs games since the 1950s.
