A police squad car, a bicycle and a third vehicle crashed this morning in Logan Square, police said, sending several people—including a cop—to the hospital.
The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m., at the intersection of Sacramento Avenue and Logan Boulevard, according to police. Their preliminary information suggests that a 54-year-old male driver, going west on Logan Boulevard, T-boned a squad car going north on Sacramento, pushing it into a 27-year-old cyclist going south on Sacramento.
The cyclist and the male CPD officer went to Illinois Masonic. The cyclist was in serious condition; the officer was in stable condition. The driver refused medical services.
