Nancy Maldonado, Wife of Ald. Roberto Maldonado, Dies

Nancy Maldonado, the wife of Ald. Roberto Maldonaldo (26th), died on Tuesday after “a courageous battle with cancer,” according to an announcement from the alderman.
"Words of condolence fail to express the deep sadness that has overcome the Alderman, their three children Rene, Roberto Jr., and Raquel, and Nancy's parents at this time," the statement continued.
The alderman also posted a beautiful gallery of in-memoriam photos.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 6, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Alvarez Funeral Home, at 2500 N. Cicero.
The funeral will be on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 9:30 a.m. at Maternity BVM Church, at 3647 W. North Ave.
