Get Ready For Sub-Zero Wind Chills Next Week

Brace yourselves for some below-zero wind chills, Chicago. The city might be seeing the coldest air so far this season in a few days.

We've been spoiled this winter with above-average temperatures, which should continue through the end of the week, according to NBC5. So enjoy it while it lasts!

But all bets are off Sunday and early next week. During the day on Sunday, highs will be about 20 degrees with wind chills in the single digits and lake effect snow possible. It will turn into the coldest night so far with single digit temperatures and wind chills between -5 and -15 degrees.

Monday looks pretty miserable too with highs down in the teens and more below-zero wind chills. Tuesday will be slightly better with temperatures returning to the low- to mid-20s.
