2 Teens Killed In South Side Drive-By Shooting Tuesday

Two teenagers were killed and another was wounded in a daytime drive-by shooting in Grand Crossing Tuesday.
Donta Parker, 16, was shot in the head and Sakinah Reed, 17, was shot in the chest just after 3:30 p.m. near 76th Street and Dorchester Avenue in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood, according to WGN.
They were were killed by shots fired from a passing SUV and pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to authorities.
A 16-year-old boy was shot in the hand during the incident and was hospitalized in good condition. Both 16-year-olds were involved in gangs, law enforcement said.
No suspects have been arrested.
The tragic drive-by shooting was not the only gun violence Chicago experienced Tuesday. Two other people were killed in shootings and nine were wounded on Tuesday.
At least 50 people have been shot and 10 have been killed in the city since Jan. 1.
